미니멀리즘은 단순함에서 우러나오는 미를 추구하는 사회 철학 또는 문화나 예술적 사조를 말합니다. 최소한의 Mininal과 이념을 뜻하는 접사 -ism이 합쳐져서 minimalism이 만들어 졌습니다. 미술, 디자인, 건축, 생활, 음악 등의 여러가지 분야에서 접할 수 있는데 수원 영신여고의 급식실은 심플한 파벽돌 디자인에 인테리어적으로 간단하게 포인트적 표현을 할 수 있는 객체만 적용하여 미니멀리즘을 실현 한 케이스 입니다.

The term "minimalism" is formed by combining "minimal" for minimal and the suffix "-ism" denoting ideology. It can be encountered in various fields such as art, design, architecture, lifestyle, and music. The cafeteria at Suwon Youngshin High School embodies minimalism by featuring simple brick wall designs and minimalistic interior objects, showcasing a minimal yet impactful aesthetic.
